North Texas SC earned their fourth consecutive victory last Saturday when they defeated Timbers2, 2-1, in the MLS NEXT Pro's Game of the Week.
José Mulato scored his third goal of the season, once again from outside the 18-yard box. Mulato continued to cause havoc, earning the foul that led to a penalty in the 19th minute. Bernard Kamungo successfully executed the penalty, giving him seven goals for the campaign.
North Texas SC has not lost since late April and continues to prove its pedigree each week, topping the Western Conference standings with 27 points.

After stumbling against RNY FC a couple of weeks ago, Columbus Crew 2 has bounced back with consecutive victories, scoring nine goals in the process.
