Real Monarchs (0) - Austin FC II (0) (Austin FC II wins shootout 4-3)
Austin FC II goalkeeper Damian Las continued to show his dominance in earning another result. The recently named Mid-Season Goalkeeper of the Year made two shootout saves as Austin FC II took two points from a road trip to face Real Monarchs.
Regulation time brought a defensive stalemate in which both back lines stood strong. The teams combined for only three shots on goal. Las picked up his eighth clean sheet of the season.
Austin FC II rebounded from last week's loss to Tacoma Defiance to get back on track in the Western Conference. Real Monarchs continue to improve, taking four points from the past two games.
TFC II (1) - Crown Legacy FC (2)
Crown Legacy FC came from behind at York Lions Stadium to secure three points and remain atop the Eastern Conference. Joao Pedro scored the winning penalty kick in stoppage time.
Jordan Faria scored his third goal of the season in the 55th minute, finishing off an Ike Adenuga cross with a well-time header. David Poreba equalized nine minutes later with an impressive full-stretch finish.
Crown Legacy remained unbeaten in four straight matches. TFC II's struggle for consistency continues, with three points from the past three games.
Thursday
Earthquakes II (2) - LA Galaxy II (2) (Earthquakes II wins shootout 9-8)
An extra-round shootout and four goals in regulation time found Earthquakes II coming away with two points and extending an unbeaten streak to four games. Edwyn Mendoza scored the decisive spot kick in the 10th round of the shootout.
Jose Serrano and Aaron Bibout traded close-range goals in the first 23 minutes. Roberto Hategan finished off an excellent long through ball by Cruz Medina, with a half-volley finish to match it, in the 37th minute. Axel Picazo equalized in the 50th minute.
Wednesday
Orlando City B (0) - Philadelphia Union II (3)
A Chris Donovan scored a brace as Philadelphia Union II took all three points in a dominant performance at Osceola County Stadium.
Donovan opened scoring in the 11th minute by receiving a lofted pass upfield from Juan Castillo, bringing the ball down and finishing strong into the opposite side netting. Donovan doubled the lead by winning the ball high up the field and taking a calm finish. David Vazquez sealed the win with a goal in the 86th minute.
Union II picked up a win for the first time in three weeks, while OCB fell to back-to-back losses.
