Toronto FC II improved to eight games unbeaten following a 3-0 win against Orlando City B Sunday Evening at York Lions Stadium.
The home side, with the win, continued to inch closer to a playoff berth as the club currently holds the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with several teams closely trailing.
As for Orlando City B, the team’s aspirations for a playoff spot took a massive hit with the away side stuck in the ninth spot in the East standings.
Three goals from TFC II substitutes Reshaun Walkes and Julian Altobelli in the second half proved to be the difference between the two sides after a stalemate in the first half.
The first two goals of the game came in a four-minute span with Walkes opening the scoring in the 67th minute after slotting the ball past the keeper to cap a quick counterattack. Altobelli doubled the lead for the home side in quick succession with a composed finish in front of goal to net his fifth of the season so far.
Walkes scored his second of the night in the 84th minute to secure his brace and his third goal of the season in 12 matches.

Despite the incredible form, the Canadian side is on with its eight-game unbeaten run, the club is only one point ahead of Inter Miami II for the fourth spot in the East.
