North Texas SC are the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro champions after defeating Philadelphia Union II 3-2 thanks to a stoppage-time winning goal.
In absolutely thrilling fashion, Pedrinho sent in a game-winning back-heeled shot to send the fans at Toyota Stadium into a frenzy.
NTSC trailed 2-0 at halftime after Union II came out of the gate hot. Strikers Markus Anderson and Eddy Davis put the early lead together in the first 18 minutes and looked to be on a cruise to claim the Cup.
Logan Farrington's direct free kick in the 51st minute opened the door for North Texas SC's comeback, and Enes Sali's game-tying finish at the back post in the 67th minute set the stage for Pedrinho.
