The 2024 MLS NEXT Pro regular season continued this weekend with several teams earning positive results in both conferences.
St. Louis CITY SC jumped to first place in the Western Conference after continuing their winning run while Philadelphia Union II also did the same in the East. Chattanooga FC stayed right behind Union II after registering a shootout win at Orlando City B.
FC Cincinnati 2 and Chicago Fire II earned impressive road results to continue their respective surges up the league standings.

10.) Sporting KC II
Sporting KC II suffered their worst loss of 2024, which dropped them to No. 10 in this week's Power Rankings.
A 5-1 defeat the hands of Real Monarchs ended SKC II's four-match regulation unbeaten run. SKC II couldn't get it going on the road, being held without a goal until the 81st minute. Ethan Bryant's consolation tally was the only bright spot for Benny Feilhaber's men in a forgettable performance.
A trip to West-leading St. Louis CITY2 next weekend looms for SKC II.

9.) NYCFC II
NYCFC II has already had one three-match winning streak this season across all competitions, but Wednesday's 3-1 league win over TFC II made it their first three-match winning run in MLS NEXT Pro play.
Taylor Calheira scored twice for NYCFC II before Julien Lacher added an insurance goal in stoppage time. Calheira has been crucial over the last few weeks, scoring five goals in his last three appearances.
The 22-year-old will need to remain impactful if NYCFC II wants to continue winning this summer.

8.) Whitecaps FC 2
Whitecaps FC 2 are flying high heading into the summer.
A 4-1 victory over MNUFC2 last Thursday extended the Canadian club's winning streak to four matches. Mihail Gherasimencov and Nicolas Chateau both scored goals before a pair of MNUFC2 own goals padded the final score at 4-1.
Whitecaps FC 2 have outscored their opponents 12-2 over that span, continuing to be one of the league's in-form sides.

7.) Chicago Fire II
Chicago Fire II remained in this week's Power Rankings after extending their regulation unbeaten streak to four matches.
A 4-0 beatdown of Huntsville City FC featured a brace from David Poreba and additional goals from Christian Koffi and Harold Osorio. Poreba's now leads the MLS NEXT Pro Golden Boot ranks with nine tallies, which are three more goals than he finished with in 2023.
A three-match road trip continues for Fire II on Friday at Columbus Crew 2.

6.) Ventura County FC
Ventura County FC has continued to grind out results during an important time of the MLS NEXT Pro season.
A 4-2 shootout win over Colorado Rapids 2 saw VCFC take points for the third-straight match. The teams played out a 2-2 scoreline through 90 minutes before earning two points for the second-straight week. Aaron Bibout continues to be among the goals after netting his fifth of the campaign.

5.) Chattanooga FC
The regulation unbeaten streak for Chattanooga FC extended to four matches over Matchweek 14.
A 4-2 shootout win over Orlando City B kept CFC as one of the more consistent teams this month. Mehdi Ouamri continued his blistering goalscoring form while Duvan Viafara also celebrated a goal of his own this past weekend.
Upcoming home matches against Carolina Core FC and Crown Legacy FC will be good tests for CFC before a trip to East-leading Philadelphia Union II.

4.) FC Cincinnati 2
There's just no quit in FC Cincinnati 2.
Tyrone Marshall's team continues to fly after registering a second-straight road victory this June. After defeating Philadelphia Union II, FCC2 breezed past Carolina Core FC 3-1 away from home. Brian Schaefer, Jesus Castellano, and Amir Daley all scored to erase a first-half deficit on the road.
FCC2's five away regulation wins are the most in the Eastern Conference to date.

3.) St. Louis CITY2
The good times continued for St. Louis CITY2 during Matchweek 14's slate.
A fourth-straight win saw Bobby Murphy's squad earn a 1-0 home victory over Houston Dynamo 2. It marked the second-straight clean sheet for CITY2 and their third out of the past four matches. Ryan Becher's first-half goal was all CITY2 needed to remain one of the dominant sides in MLS NEXT Pro this season.

2.) North Texas SC
North Texas SC was not in action during Matchweek 14's schedule, but remain as one of the toughest teams to beat in the league.
NTX will return to action on June 22, riding a four-match winning streak. Back-to-back shutout victories over LAFC II and MNUFC2 have NTX riding high on confidence. Their eight goals conceded are the fewest in MLS NEXT Pro while their +13 goal differential is the second-best.
The West's No. 2 ranked team shouldn't have too many hiccups until a head-to-head showdown with St. Louis CITY2 on July 27.

1.) Philadelphia Union II
Marlon LeBlanc's Philadelphia Union II squad rebounded with a confident win on the road.
A 3-0 triumph over Crown Legacy FC featured a trio of second-half goals from the East leaders. Leandro Soria, Francis Westfield, and C.J. Olney all found the back of the net before goalkeeper Andrew Rick was sent off in second-half stoppage time.
The result was Union II's fourth regulation road victory of 2024, which are the second-most in the East.
