Matchweek 11 action in MLS NEXT Pro featured important victories for Philadelphia Union II, North Texas SC, and LAFC2.
All three clubs remain near the top of the league standings, while Chattanooga FC's two points earned also kept them in the overall top-four. FC Cincinnati's winning streak came to an end this past weekend while Chicago Fire II gained a valuable three points against rivals Columbus Crew 2.

10.) New York Red Bulls II
Three-straight losses haven't fully knocked New York Red Bulls II out of the Top 10 Power Rankings, but a fourth defeat might be what does.
A 5-1 hammering at the hands of Philadelphia Union II have Red Bulls II struggling for any consistency. Following back-to-back losses to Orlando City B and FC Cincinnati 2, Red Bulls II failed to offer much against the East leaders on Sunday.
A rivalry showdown with NYCFC II comes next on Saturday, which could be what continues their losing run or helps them break out of their recent funk.

9.) Sporting KC II
Sporting KC II enjoyed a bye week during Matchweek 11's schedule but gets back to action to begin a busy June slate.
A trip to MNUFC2 on Sunday starts a five-match schedule for Benny Feilhaber's men, a run that Feilhaber will certainly hope his squad uses to their advantage. Sitting fifth in the West, SKC II still have a lot of time to move up the standings, especially with four of those five matches coming against teams below them in the standings.

8.) Chicago Fire II
Sometimes all you need to get back on track is a rivalry win. That looked to be the case for Chicago Fire II.
Fire II defeated Columbus Crew 2 by a 2-1 scoreline on Friday, using goals from David Poreba and Peter Soudan to get the job done. The result was Fire II's sixth home win of the campaign in all competitions, ranking them second in home results in the Eastern Conference.
A trip to TFC II comes on Friday to close Fire II's May schedule.

7.) FC Cincinnati 2
The winning streak has ended at five matches for FC Cincinnati 2.
FCC2 fell 1-0 on home soil to Inter Miami II on Sunday, suffering their first defeat since April 14. Despite out-shooting their visitors, FCC2 conceded a 93rd-minute winner to endure their fourth regulation loss of the campaign.
A bye week approaches for FCC2 before a tricky test at Philadelphia Union II.

6.) St. Louis CITY2
St. Louis CITY2 rebounded during Matchweek 11's slate, earning a 1-0 home victory over The Town FC.
Mykhi Joyner's second-half penalty kick goal was all Bobby Murphy's squad needed to rebound from a midweek defeat to Houston Dynamo 2. Defensively, they held The Town FC to zero shots on target, continuing to be one of the better backlines in MLS NEXT Pro.
Back-to-back matches at Colorado Rapids 2 and Tacoma Defiance will be tough for CITY2 in the next two weeks, but are definitely winnable matches.

5.) Ventura County FC
Matchweek 11 featured a setback result for Venutra County FC.
A 1-0 road loss to Whitecaps FC 2 was VCFC's second in a row on the road and third overall in the past six matches. Despite getting back on track in Matchweek 10, VCFC fell to fourth place in the Western Conference.
All of VCFC's next three matches are against clubs below them in the standings, providing a good opportunity to get some confidence back heading into the summer.

4.) North Texas SC
Make it back-to-back wins for North Texas SC.
NTX defeated Real Monarchs 2-1 on Friday to propel them into first place in the Western Conference. John Gall's men have been one of the tougher sides this spring and that trend will certainly carry into June's schedule. Pedro Fonseca and Tarik Scott both celebrated goals on Friday, continuing to play vital attacking roles this season.
A Matchweek 12 trip to LAFC2 will be a good measuring stick match for both clubs.

3.) LAFC2
LAFC2 were able to claim a full three points to close its May schedule.
Junior Gonzalez watched as his side defeated Austin FC II by a 2-1 scoreline at Parmer Field. It marked LAFC2's fourth regulation win out of their last six overall, a result that keeps them right behind North Texas SC for top spot in the West.
James Arteaga and Adrian Wibowo played the hero roles after both scored in the final 10 minutes of Friday's result.

2.) Chattanooga FC
Matchweek 11 featured a bounce-back result for Chattanooga FC.
CFC claimed two points at home in a 5-3 shootout win over ATL UTD 2, keeping them one point back of Philadelphia Union II for top spot in the East. Milo Garvanian and Jesus Ibarra both netted goals in regulation before Jean Antoine made one vital shootout save.
A two-match homestand concludes for CFC against New England Revolution II on Saturday.

1.) Philadelphia Union II
Things seem to be clicking in the right direction for Philadelphia Union II.
Marlon LeBlanc's squad rolled past rivals New York Red Bulls II by a 5-1 scoreline on Sunday, extending their winning streak to three matches. David Vazquez and Markus Anderson both registered braces, while Eddy Davis continued to play an impactful role in the attacking third.
Union II's 23 goals scored are the most in the East while their 10 goals conceded are the second-fewest.
