FC Cincinnati 2 clinched their third victory of the season during Matchweek 7, with Gerardo Valenzuela earning Man of the Match honors after scoring a stellar hat-trick.
Of his three goals, Valenzuela's opener stole the show and earned the Goal of Matchweek 7 award.
In the 21st minute, Valenzuela received the ball near the Philadelphia Union II box, dribbled past three defenders, then scored FCC2's opening goal by getting past the Union II keeper and tapping the ball in.
The 19-year-old midfielder earned over 50% of the poll defeating other Goal of Matchweek 7 nominees like Ventura County FC’s Erik Hernandez, Chicago Fire II’s Osmari Glasgow and Philadelphia Union II’s Kyle Tucker.
