Angela Curry is the founder of United Women of Color and has led the organization as executive director for 5 years. Angela received the Rosa Parks Catalyst for Change Award in 2020 for leading UWOC’s criminal justice activism. She also received the Alumni of Achievement Award for the Colleges of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences from the University of Alabama in Huntsville for her work and community impact with UWOC.
