Following on from Mehdi Ouamri's selection to the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Best XI, Chattanooga FC has picked up another end-of-year accolade.
In a poll published on MLS NEXT Pro's official X account, Ibarra's superb trivela in a 3-0 win over FC Cincinnati 2 on March 23rd, 2024 tallied the most votes.
"Honestly that's the best goal I've scored as a professional for sure," said Ibarra post-match back in March. "Especially coming in as a sub and making a quick impact, it's definitely my top goal."
Ibarra also gave his perspective of the special moment.
"I got the ball and I knew to drive at the centerback very fast and go the opposite way he was facing, and I cut in and I knew I was going to hit it with the outside [of my boot]. Once I made contact with the ball I just knew it was going on target."
