Chattanooga FC Women signs the two-time Mountain West champion from Utah State University for the 2025 season!
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 16, 2025) — Chattanooga Football Club (CFC) today announced it has signed defender Kasie Vigil for the 2025 Chattanooga FC Women's WPSL season, pending federation and league approval.
"Kasie is a fiece competitior and defender who will be a strong addition to CFC Women," said CFC Women Associate Head Coach Maryn Beutler. "We look forward to working with her and understand the level that she will bring to the environment. She will bring a championship mindset and unmatched speed to the backline."
The Gilbert, Arizona native has played for the Utah State University Aggies since 2023. She appeared in 17 matches and earned three starts in her freshman season and was named academic all-Mountain West. She played in eight matches and made one start during her sophomore season.
Vigil was teammates with recently announced CFC Women signing Rine Yonaha in the 2024 fall season with the Aggies.
Vigil expressed her enthusiasm upon joining Chattanooga FC Women.
"I am excited to be joining one of the most historic clubs in American soccer," said Vigil. "It is an incredible opportunity, and I’m excited to be part of a legacy and continue to build it. Playing for a club with such a dedicated fanbase is truly special, and I can’t wait to give my all for them on the field."
