The Primary Care Coordinator (PCC) will support the development and implementation of a holistic approach to player care and athlete development and is critical to the player transition as it provides them with full support to concentrate on their profession and well-being. This position reports to the Director of Soccer Operations and will be a trusted confidant and the first point of contact for players' personal questions and support. The PCC will play a critical role in maintaining club culture, communications, and overall high-level and professional experience for everyone.

This role will assist all players and their families with the transition into the Chattanooga area and establishing their new lives within the community, help facilitate all day-to-day administration as it relates to player care, player onboarding, and family, and be the bridge between the players and the rest of the technical and administrative staff and operations of Chattanooga Football Club (CFC).

Essential responsibilities:

  • Serve as a resource to provide a consistent range of support to all CFC players and their families
  • Assist in onboarding, relocation, player accommodations, housing setup, or viewings
  • Assist players with medical forms, and any needed paperwork for setting up in the Chattanooga area pertaining to travel, vehicles, licensing, and accommodations
  • Assisting international players with United States acclimation, including establishing banking, obtaining social security numbers, mobile phone service, and immigration visas
  • Order and setup breakfast and lunch at training
  • Coordinate player physical therapy / medical exams and associated travel arrangements
  • Ensure complete data and record management for player files; track player hours for payroll compliance
  • Manage travel reimbursement according to contract / policy
  • Maintain compliance with club / league policies: gambling, SafeSport training, etc ● Handle ticket requests for both home and away matches, point of contact on match days for friends and family of players/staff
  • Assist and work across CFC Departments for player appearances, being the point of contact for players, ensuring management of player arrival, departure, and any information the player will need.
  • Coordinate player signing/autograph requests and other events
  • Develop a program to assist players looking for language learning and coordinate any needs for translators
  • Build a network of contacts to aid in supporting player and family lifestyle needs, such as schools/daycare, visas, green cards, driver's licenses, etc.
  • Develop and maintain high quality materials relating to the community and the Club to be used as materials in attracting and retaining players such as regional amenities, educational elements, housing, etc.
  • Collaborate with the CFC Soccer Operations, Medical & Performance, and Technical Departments in all aspects of player experience and needs
  • Connect with, work alongside Corporate Partners for network support and resources that would be valuable to player/player families
  • Provide any needed support for CFC leadership, First Team, Technical Staff and others in accordance with league guidelines.
  • Work with the Operations & Technical Departments to assist in the transition of Academy players to the First Team environment.
  • Assist with the collection of player feedback to identify potential improvements ● Perform other duties or special projects as requested

Knowledge and skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, particularly tasks that are time sensitive
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a strong sense of accountability
  • Flexibility to travel and work nights/weekends
  • Availability to work all home games
  • Effective and clear communication skills working with all levels and ages
  • High level of discretion and trust for managing delicate and sensitive information
  • Knowledge of MLS and MLS Next Pro League Rules
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
