CAROLINA CORE FC POSTGAME QUOTES

Head Coach Roy Lassiter

On the win tonight…

“From beginning to end of the game we played really well. Obviously giving the goal we gave up was not great, but we showed a lot of character and kept fighting to get the three points that we needed. I’m glad the boys finished the game getting the three points, because the points are very valuable to us.”

On the performance after Wednesday’s loss…

“I already said going into this game we needed to treat it as if we were 1-0 down. By doing that, I tried to put everything into perspective that we are trying to achieve this season. Once we give something up, we tend to go after it again and again, and that is the kind of attitude we want to have.”
